Privacy Policy

CookieGlide is designed to provide browser privacy protection while keeping browsing-derived data on your device.

Extension data

The extension processes website hostnames, cookie names and attributes, protection settings, trusted-site rules, and local activity counts to provide its features. Cookie values are not shown or uploaded. Browsing history, page content, cookie information, settings, and extension activity are stored in your browser and are not sent to CookieGlide.

Browser permissions

Access to websites, cookies, local storage, and declarative request blocking is used to detect supported consent popups, apply tracker-blocking rules, inspect and remove cookies for the active site, and preserve trusted sites.

Limited Use

CookieGlide's use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Website accounts and billing

If you sign in, the website receives the provider user ID, email address, display name, and sign-in provider needed to identify your account. Google sign-in is handled through Supabase. ChatGPT sign-in is handled by the hosting platform. If you become a Supporter, Dodo Payments processes checkout, subscription, tax, and payment information. CookieGlide receives the customer identifier and subscription status needed to provide billing access, but does not receive complete card details.

Website traffic records

When you visit cookieglide.xyz, CookieGlide records the request time, IP address, requested page, and the signed-in email address and provider when available. These records are used to measure website traffic and troubleshoot service or security problems. They are visible only to CookieGlide administrators and are automatically deleted after 30 days. Website traffic records are separate from extension activity and do not contain browsing history, cookie data, or login information from other websites.

Technical request data

Hosting, security, authentication, and payment providers may also process technical request data such as IP address, browser or device details, request timestamps, and security signals to deliver their services and prevent abuse.

Retention and control

Website traffic records are retained for 30 days. Extension data remains in your browser until you reset CookieGlide or remove the extension. You can export or reset local extension data from its dashboard. Billing records are retained as needed to provide subscriptions, meet tax and accounting obligations, and prevent fraud.

Sharing

CookieGlide does not sell personal data. Account and billing information is shared only with service providers that operate sign-in, hosting, and payment functions, or when required by law.
